The Concord City Dems are deeply disconcerted by the presence of approximately 18 masked members of the declared white nationalist group, Blood Tribe, who occupied the steps of the State House yesterday morning—just as the Prep Team for the NH 50501 Rage Against the Regime Rally arrived to set up. We are grateful that the event’s organizers were unharmed because they followed peaceful, non-violent protocols. They demonstrated discipline, courage, and an unwavering commitment to democratic ideals in the face of open provocation. At the same time, we acknowledge that our broader team, the big tent of citizens devoted to belonging, peace, and compassion, were unprepared for this kind of organized extremist disruption. We are taking this as a wake-up call. White nationalist activity is no longer theoretical—it’s happening here. Next time, we will be strategically disciplined in our response. We are already coordinating with our partners to ensure that the next time we will be prepared. A non-violent direct action training hosted by the NH Council of Churches is scheduled for August 20, 2025. Community members are encouraged to build the skills required to meet this moment. It’s reported and confirmed by video footage that masked members of the Blood Tribe shouted anti-immigrant slurs and white supremacist slogans. Particularly disturbing is the apparent pepper spraying and physical assault of a Concord resident by a member of this group. [character limit reached]
