'Nil' was the track I liked the most, and Autechre completely changed my mind about music. Orian and I were close that 1st year of Uni only; he quit engineering because, of course, music was his world. I guess he'll never know how influential that brief friendship was for me. Never saw him again.

I met this guy Orian while studying Electronics at Uni. He was obsessed with music, and we became close friends, so close that I'd borrow his ID to get into clubs (I was underage). I remember him most because he filled my MP3 player with Autechre's full discography.

Last week I saw an IG story from a friend sharing this song by Os Originais Do Samba. I replied saying that he didn't know how much this song helped me through the long winters. He replied saying that I didn't know how that song helped him to cope with the lose of a friend.

I was lucky enough to listen to the amazing Mabe Fratti live in Vienna last year, during an intimate show at a small venue called Rhiz. When she performed 'Todo Lo Que Queriฬas Saber' I knew right away that her music was something truly special.
