It does feel underwhelming in comparison. The community's had years to collectively build ideas that treat Beforus with a level of seriousness and respect for their favorite trolls, that the source doesn't really have, with Beforus being a joke.

Murderer Honkhonk name reveal is hilarous.

I got so used to the limeblood headcanons and mystery that pyrokinesis just feels odd. My favorite used to be a natural resistance to psychic powers.

I'll have to think if I want to update my limebloods or not. I think it would fit one of them somewhat.
