More progress on the "See Rock City" barn. Really enjoying this cross stitch project. I'm rather excited to see it on display. It'll mean a lot as a personal souvenir from a great vacation.

UDisc round summary

Raining sideways over a multiuse field as seen from the pavilion.

Finally got out for my first round of disc golf for the season. Been a bit busy and the weather has been crazy. Thought it'd be a little clearer today but it came a downpour mid-round. Had fun, though, and my best round to date. Getting better bit by bit.

Four coasters with cross stitched D20s in the center. TL-BR gradients of green, yellow, blue, and pink.

Forgot I never posted a pic of the completed coasters. Here they are completed. Really enjoy using them. Nice to have a finished cross stitch project that we can use.

The pattern called for the same white to be used for the trim and the words, but I decided to use a silky white for the "SEE ROCK CITY" to kind of make it pop and give it a 'freshly painted' vibe. Really enjoying this project so far.

A single line of stitches, angled as they are a part of the pitch of the barn roof. All I got done on the actual trip. Lol

Recently went on a 4-day trip to Chattanooga and decided I should do a vacation project. I landed on this vintage pattern of a "SEE ROCK CITY" barn I found a copy of on Etsy. The last picture is how far I got on the actual trip and the first picture is current progress.

Oh, yea. They're fantastic. They have like a T-slot in the bottom so that they can fit on a floss tackle box.
Hardest part is tapping that pin thing in gently enough that you can get it back out again, but not so gently that it rockets off once you get good and turning. Lol

I've been doing it for a couple of months and I've found it relaxing. It's also great to have a hobby I can take on the road with me.

The diamond painting thing looks like it has a lot of small pieces so it might not be a good idea to try that in the truck, especially with my cat.

Cross stitch on plastic Aida: D20 outline in black with "20" in a gold/teal metallic floss

Found a set of coasters at a thrift store that have a little slot in the bottom where you could slide a wallet-sized photo. *Or* a wallet-sized cross stitch project. They're going in our game room, so what better than some D20s?

I'm a truck driver. Space in the truck is limited, but a disc bag is fairly compact. I can go for a walk to a course or stop at a decent sized rest area for a little field work. Gives me a reason to get out of the truck, and has made me feel more comfortable existing in public spaces.

The way I see it, the worse you, the more you walk, the longer you live, the more disc golf you get to play. Imma get to play for a long time. Lol

From left to right: my industrial district, the incomplete city, the village we revamped, and a castle nestled in a cherry blossom biome on top of a small mountain.

Did a world download from my Realm and used UnMined. Always love seeing the sky view of our worlds. It's still a work in progress, but it's nice to have these little snapshots of the progress.
