I gotta say, Pamelaβs Pro Workout is a beast of a module
Yay! I finally figured out how to tame the Chaos module by using Pamβs as a quantizer. I had to use 2 outputs though.
Iβm also using my new buffered mult to split the pitch cv to the victor and 110 modules without losing voltage π₯°
A pic of a small modular synth kit with patch cables connecting various modules
My Pamelaβs Pro Workout module arrived.
This is a deeeeeeeeeeep module and will require a lot of tutorial watching

A pic of a synth module called Abacus. There are patch cables going willy nilly all over the place
Exploring the Behringer Abacus module this morning. Itβs a clone of the Maths module by Make Noise.
Itβs a poetry robust thing and will take a while to understand it
forgot to add that there's an LFO modulating the time of the envelope on Waves. That's what let's it breathe a bit.
Longer timing then short snappy ones

instead of just linear. I'm running the output through the 2600 preamp and VCA for a little bit of saturation.
The notes are all generated in the MidiHub. All that is technically being played is a 4 note rhythm with a single note. the arp and randomness are all generated via MIDI processing

I absolutely love the sound of the Behringer Waves being used as an envelope. Especially with that really snappy wave shape.
The Waves is modulating the VCF and the VCA. The sequencer is sending CV to the VCF as well.
I'm using the amp in the 130 instead of the 110 because it can do exponential

it's an odd little thing. you think you can plan something out but it's 99% chance when something locks in.
I'm really liking using external ADSR and VCFs on it. I just can't get the built it ones to sound like i want
Close up pic of another synth module. Waves by Behringer
another new module I recently picked up. I spent a day just exploring the envelope capabilities on it and i REALLY like them!
Now Iβm exploring its oscillator skills and Iβm very impressed with those too

new module i picked up yesterday. An analog sequencer. Very fiddly but very cool

Sorry i boosted the colour a bit too much on this vid
And sorry about toesβ¦π€¦πΌββοΈ
Example of what i tried to explain in the previous post. The envelopes and filters sound so much more interesting than the onboard ones on the Spice. And you can do extra modulation on them
22.11.2025 16:09 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0I then triggered those envelopes with the Waves (Tides v2). I like the envelopes that it can generate(can get nice and snappy). AND then i had the idea of modulating the shape and the frequency of the AD envelope and it made the spice a lot more interesting. Triggering the gates from the Spice

i just unlocked another thing with my synths. I really like the Spice (Subharmonicon), but the envelopes on it never did anything for me. It's like they did ONE thing and that's it.
I had the idea of opening the envelopes/filter and sending the audio out to the 110's VCF/VCA
Iβm just using the 2600 for the mult and also as a mixer. The modular sounds really nice running through the 2600βs VCA. It kinda warms it up a bit
22.11.2025 14:22 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The Spice is just doing its own polyrhythmic thing and Iβve taken the gate from just sequence 1 to trigger the 182 analog sequencer so itβs playing at a similar but different rate than the Spice.

a little polyrhythmic jam this morning. still testing out the interconnectivity between all my stuff.
sorry, it seems like the oscillator drifted slightly out of tune π€·πΌββοΈ
A pic of my small modular synth setup with patch cables connecting a bunch of stuff
trying out some new modules. i picked up the 182 today and while analog sequencers have their share of quirks, thereβs nothing quite like them π₯°

Just ordered a ground loop eliminator thing. Ever since moving to this place thereβs been so much digital noise in my monitors that i tend to not turn them on and use headphones instead.
This never happened in my old place.
It kind of drives me crazy so i gotta try something
Sitting in my music studio surrounded by gear
Had another tier to use above the S49 so I pulled out the Maschine Mikro and the old BeatStep.
I donβt usually use the Maschine because itβs always tucked away and not easily accessible
Might be nice to have it readily available
Going over to my exβs to meet her new doggie π₯°

One modular voice from the 110, doubled an octave up with a pulse wave from the 2600(LFO modulating the PWM and VCO2 in LFO mode adding a slow wave to the cutoff)
S&H on the 2600 is modulating the cutoff on the 110
Listen to those crunchy delays on the DFX9 in the spaces between notes π
Slightly generative sequence built in MidiHub: arpeggiated major 9th chords with random octave jumps and a 60% chance of a note triggering. The DAW is alternating between CM9 and FM9

Did some bleeping and blooping tonight. Patch notes are in the you tube description

also, that moment when you lock in a perfect dotted eighth delay *chefβs kiss*
15.11.2025 01:04 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0at higher repeats before it goes into oscillation and completes digital chaos, itβs got this absolutely filthy crunchy sound thatβs gorgeous

i need to use my pedals more because theyβve got CHARACTER!
This DFX9 was one of the first pedals i ever bought. Sadly i got rid of it and i replaced it a couple years ago.
It is so dirty and crunchy. Late 80s digital so itβs kinda bitcrushy
Sounds fantastic on synths
Pic of me in my studio standing in front of some keyboards. There are some synths and music gear on the table behind me and coloured lights on the wall
still moving things around in my studio to find the optimal setup for what Iβve got.
just moved the DX over my S49 and the mixer and pedals are now raised beside the 2600. It feels nicer
