Have started a self defense/grappling/Brazilian Jiu Jitsu course, and it's so fucking fun. Only now fully realizing the strength of my primal urge to grapple people to a mat.

Heat's been out at work for three weeks now, temps have reached 16 C/61 F. Employer is working hard on getting the heat restored, which unfortunately satisfies the legal requirements, so we can't just walk out. I'm a solid block of ice.

This gets progressively funnier with every use of the term "floppy".

See, that's the part I already knew, there's a thing in there going power on/power off to represent the 0s and 1s. But the thing that never made sense to me was, how does that translate into anything? But if you assume that there's *millions* of things in there going on/off, I can sort of see it.

No? God damn it. Will i never get an answer to my fundamental question of "i know there's 0s and 1s involved but HOW do the 0s and 1s turn into anything!!?" without actually putting in the effort to read an "but how do computer work" article? 😭

Today, just now, at the age of mumbledy-mumble years old, having used computers my entire adult life, I had my mind blown by the revelation that the bit (as in, 8 bits are a byte, a million bytes are a megabyte) is a physical structure inside the computer.

OTOH, having a sex tape leaked is one of the biggest things to make people unfairly dismiss a celebrity as an idiot, which is exactly what Bruce wants for Bruce Wayne.

It's quite weird for me, especially because this is the Batman from The Worst Movies, and none of the much better movies, some of which i quite liked, ever managed to make me care before. (And the movie is STILL unwatchable, even when i go in pre-caring.)

Someone recced a susiecarter Batman/Superman Arranged Marriage fic here recently, which has led to me tearing through their whole catalogue, which has resulted in giving me feelings about Batman, a thing I've never had feelings about before.
