This has always been the weakness in the "new jobs will replace the ones lost" argument. Saw it back in the 80s with the industrial workers that lost their livelihoods. The question should be "will the new jobs that appear be assigned to those who lost their jobs?" The answer is nearly always "no"

Even if you want one, there won't be enough of those technical jobs for everyone. Like it or not, the wealthy are going to have no choice but to fund UBI. Otherwise who the heck do they think is going to buy the crap that they're selling? We won't have jobs and therefore money. Goodbye profits.

And what the hell would be the point of schools? The only things worth learning, if this is the future, would be tech stuff. Why would anyone need jobs in chemistry, history, English Literature etc? This is one steaming turd of a future we're building.

That list of "fastest growing" jobs is laughable. They can't expect every single person that loses their admin/retail/whatever jobs to retrain and chase after those techy jobs. I've neither the motivation or the time to go back to college, then probably uni, for a job I might keep for 10 years.
