07.08.2025 15:05 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0It’s similar to yards after contact for running backs, sometimes you’ll have a RB with more yards after contact in a single game than actual yards gained.
Even when accounting for long air yard plays, it’s possible there was enough behind the line of scrimmage plays for mims to negate them.
I will admit It’s a little tricky / misleading since it accounts for yards gained behind the LOS. If a pass is caught 5 yards behind the LOS and goes for 10 yards, that’s 10 yards of YAC for a 5 yard gain.
07.08.2025 14:52 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Marvin Mims led the NFL with 95% of his receiving yards coming after the catch. 2nd place was Khalil Shakir with 73.7%.
That’s the 2nd-highest % of yards attributed to after the catch since 2014. Rondale Moore’s 2021 season ranks first, with 99% of his yards that year coming after the catch.
30 Days Until Kickoff, 30 Stats You Didn’t Know
Stat #2 - Not only did Amon-Ra St. Brown lead the NFL in catch rate in 2024 with 83.3%, he had the 2nd highest catch rate of any WR with 100 or more targets in a single season since 2014.

Among WRs with at least 70 targets, Green Bay Packers WR Dontayvion Wicks led the NFL with a 20.4% Drop Rate in 2024. Fellow teammate Jayden Reed ranked second with a 18.2% Drop Rate.
Romeo Doubs was the 3rd Packers WR to rank Top 15 in Drop Rate with 10.9%

Stat #1 - Jaylen Waddle LED the NFL in Open Target Rate with 95.2%.
Meaning less than 5% of his targets were contested.
Waddle had one of the most disappointing seasons for any WR in 2024. But was it all his fault?
