Teach it - Promote it - Create it - you are responsible for the continuation of the culture you love. Keep it alive through your actions.

Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

I recommend listening to this conversation—it reinforces that the arts are at the heart of human expression. If more people recognized how essential the arts are to our well-being, we’d live fuller lives—and artists would be paid what they’re worth.

Ages 0-4 are the most important, emotionally & intellectually, in human development.

Yet, in the US, we have a very high rate of childhood poverty and a broken child care system.

Congratulations to New Mexico for leading the way forward for high quality, free child care. Other states must follow.

Alan K. Simpson, a Folksy Republican Force in the Senate, Dies at 93 A plain-spoken lawmaker from Wyoming, he balanced his conservative views with moderate stands on abortion rights, gay marriage and immigration reform.

Although controversial times, I followed his career & loved his spunk & spirit. Send me your mailing address in the chat and I'll mail you this postcard. My wife's late uncle left tons of unused old stamps. This is not just about you getting it, but about all of the postal workers who'll see it. And if you live in a super fucking Republican area, I really want to send you one!
