Either one and sometimes both. But typically flag on right side for bottom cause some people can aso read the top or bottom as the one to initiate conversation, and im too shy for that 😅

This one is my as close to Navy Blue as i could find, which is for sex to distinguish top or bottom.

I need whichever factory inspector who decided bandanas don't have to be perfectly square, to step forward for your punishment. I've been refolding this tiny bastard for 20min straight and finally gave up. And be warned I'm gonna make the lady who judges potlucks look nice compared to my sentencing.

I also use cheap paints for my stuff i havent seen any differrence in my stuff when i get the expensive ones. And for blending if it dries too quick i just layer, it may take more time and you paint the same things over and over but it can add depth and help you to get the edge or shape you want.
