My respect for a bookstore always increases when I see it has a local author section. Big or small doesn't matter. If I see highlighting the voices around you is important to you, it immediately becomes important to me.

Egregious plant post warning…

So last winter I got a lil teeny monstera prop/sprout & then someone gave me another “dead” one to see if I could cleric that thing back to life.

MAY I INTRODUCE YOU TO BIG CHAP (1) & WEE BEBE (2, formerly dead) CLOVEY?

If you're hinting beautifully toward Readercon, I'm not going this year. This is my year off cons, something I've been wanting for several years now. (No books or games out this year was my EXCUSE!) The exception is GenCon, because Carlos made big eyes at me. But if you'll be in NYC...!!!

LOL. You're still doing it! I know, because I do it. But I must practice constantly not to, or else Carlos makes sad eyes at me. And gets righteously furious on my behalf.

And so, I say again. Welcome to the feast. Have a seat. You're here. EXCELSIOR!

Recovering apace. Though I wish the pace would pick up. :)

But also trying to convince myself otherwise, and celebrate small victories in kindness.

THAT IS SO WONDERFUL!!! Oh my gosh. May you have all the naps you need, and may your surfaces be as clean as you want to make them!

Been taking time away to fight back my brain woims. Absolutely devouring this book the last few evenings. Genuinely scary. Shirley would have loved it.

My darling Sarah... soon, I hope you will just consider yourself one of those impressive horror writers, instead of a lesser creature. We all have imposter syndrome. WELCOME TO OUR FEAST! Now we ascend together. EXCELSIOR.

Final typographic checks are always important to the layout. In this example the lines on the right justified side of this paragraph need some changes. The repetition of "had" "had" and the d in "laughed" and the "own" rhymes should be adjusted so the eye isn't drawn to the patterns in the text

If you’re a member of SFWA, it’s your last chance to nominate works for the Nebula Awards!

Suggesting my own work for the last time for the Nebulas!

There is nothing more calming to mine own nervous system than a bunch of statement sock arranged in a statement manner to dry in the sun. #solarpower #sustainableenergy #greenenergy #statementsocks

O HAPPY DAY!
Friends and Readers: you're NEVER late to a book party. Just ask Marcus Aurelius. I didn't read him till my late thirties, some 1840-ish years after he wrote them.

But to read a book in an author's lifetime AND enjoy it AND tell them about it??? THE GREATEST GIFT! Thank you!

I love hosting Infernal Salons! If WisCon goes through Monday, I can host on Monday, but I had to tell scheduling I'm out of town to officiate a WEDDING that weekend! Dang it! But happy to run an Infernal Salon for you and your friends on a Zoom sometime. Hit me up in message! <3

I LOVE RI! I lived there for 5 glorious years & hope to return. I visit my friends there whenever I can.

Also... you're NEVER late to a book party! That's the glorious thing about books! They are endowed objects that allow us to communicate telepathically through MILLENNIA!

Thank you for reading!
