Thought I might do some reading while I recuperate, but Lou the tabby cat has other ideas. She has made herself comfortable on my neck, and heaven forbid I disturb such a precious sleeping cherub.

Home and recovering. My heart was uncooperative and they were not able to induce my arrhythmia to complete the ablation. Between my previous ER visit and subsequent hospital stay, specialist visits and today’s procedure, I’ve hit my insurance out of pocket max. And I’m back to square one.😒💸

I’m already pretty frugal and have cut back even more since January, but I like the idea of a holiday economic blackout. It would be a great way to continue the momentum from this weekend. Give baked goods, handmade, repurposed or used… I think we can do this and still make Christmas special!

Today is a good day to write/call your representatives if you are a blue dot (or dissatisfied republican) who showed up at a protest yesterday. Demand they do their jobs and negotiate to extend ACA subsidies and open the government. Don’t let them keep ignoring us and don’t let the momentum die.
