I genuinely want to read a story from the POV of one of the workers in charge of covering up all the stuff that happens between a horror movie and its sequels.
There's got to be some kind of weird PR firm scouring the internet, gaslighting people on a huge scale.
To what end, though?
The Gate - Kids opened a portal to hell. It wasn't subtle. There was a column of smoke stretching to the sky!
The Babysitter - How does the main character's father not remember hiring the titular babysitter? People died in his house!
Ghostbusters - Giant Marshmallow walking through the city!
One of my favorite (and most unbelievable) tropes in horror is how, at the start of a sequel, people are somehow skeptical of whatever supernatural entity was *clearly* established to exist in the first movie...

Does it matter that there's a record of my completely arbitrary binary ranking of a bunch of silly movies? Not really. I mean, the country is on fire... but here we go.
Respectfully, I don't know who you are and I've never heard of you before. But I just joined Bluesky today and the algorithm put you on my main page. You just earned a follower based on this post because it's exactly what I've been thinking for weeks and couldn't quite put into words.
