The Worst Survive - Coming Soon - Phil Williams Announcing the upcoming release of dystopian action novel, The Worst Survive, will full background and a call for beta readers and reviewers.

I'm finally dusting off a book that's been waiting many years for attention, to release THE WORST SURVIVE, a highly irreverent dystopian action thriller that pays tribute to the likes of Judge Dredd, Mad Max and Fallout, with a dash of cyberpunk along the way.

We've already revealed our Friday lineup for the Big Indie Weekend this month, now it's time to announce the lineup for Saturday 21st Feb, featuring:

10.02.2026 10:07 β€” πŸ‘ 17    πŸ” 8    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 2

Morning Womble, I'm currently thoroughly enjoying Feeding the Monster by Anna Bogutskaya after a thoroughly disappointing thriller which can remain nameless. Also at last ploughing through the final (for now) Judge Dredd collected case files.

Good Morning Blue Sky! Hope you’re all ok? Today I’m currently reading Grace by A M Shine taking me off to Ireland for some horror. What are you reading at the moment?

08.02.2026 08:44 β€” πŸ‘ 83    πŸ” 16    πŸ’¬ 113    πŸ“Œ 6

The book I'm currently reading contains the line 'he let out a breath I didn't know he was holding'.

Hey gang, a little bird tells me that Kobo put THE TWISTED ONES and NETTLE & BONE on sale until the 15th! (I know it’s in the UK, not sure about US)

I feel like no one ever wants to talk to me on Vinted.

I think it's high past time America formed a very big posse and ousted the varmints that have run the land ragged.

A guy at the swimming pool wanted to say "See you Thursday Phil" but apparently lost confidence that was my name halfway through and said "See you Thursday Phweeaa".

Did you know that I've had horror short stories published in places like Lovecraftiana Magazine of Eldritch Horror and a Hellbound Books Anthology of Splatterpunk?

I may not publish short fiction often, but when I do, it's horrible.

There's a wonderful church falling into disrepair near us that's been on the market forever. They've refused to actually sell it so far because they apparently had reservations about whatever's been proposed.

If I had unlimited funds I would convert it into a glorious bookshop. But alas.

Small presses and self-published authors are still writing queer books. Support indies, because publishing sure isn't.

Recently finished Tillie Walden's Clementine series and they are tremendous graphic novels, which I'm also glad are finished because they wrench at the heart rather a lot.
