A guy at the swimming pool wanted to say "See you Thursday Phil" but apparently lost confidence that was my name halfway through and said "See you Thursday Phweeaa".

Did you know that I've had horror short stories published in places like Lovecraftiana Magazine of Eldritch Horror and a Hellbound Books Anthology of Splatterpunk?

I may not publish short fiction often, but when I do, it's horrible.

There's a wonderful church falling into disrepair near us that's been on the market forever. They've refused to actually sell it so far because they apparently had reservations about whatever's been proposed.

If I had unlimited funds I would convert it into a glorious bookshop. But alas.

Somehow, I'm not convinced this email came from a genuine reader. Can't quite put my finger on why...

Recently finished Tillie Walden's Clementine series and they are tremendous graphic novels, which I'm also glad are finished because they wrench at the heart rather a lot.
