Arrived at last! I worked on The Brain of Morbius as an infotext subtitle researcher, and received this set as a thank you for my contribution.

I was in the audience for a Q&A with Billie Piper earlier this week. Astonishingly, no one asked about her appearance in the most recent episode. No vetting of questions or restrictions on what could or couldn't be asked. It just simply never came up.

If I may offer a small correction, Benton's rank is still Sergeant on the Robot credits (despite the promotion in the story). RSM appears on the credits for Terror of the Zygons and The Android Invasion.

The Scarecrow is a classic of NZ 1980s cinema. Great film and novel. I'm surprised you've not heard of it. It made a big impression on me when I saw it on TV in the mid-1980s. Looking forward to seeing it again.

There's a distinct difference between the first three episodes and the rest of the story. As you may know, eps 1-3 are largely the work of David Whitaker, whereas eps 4-7 are ghost-written by Malcolm Hulke, who was brought in to complete the serial.

They make a good point about the anachronism, except that the year's wrong. Black Orchid is set in 1925, not 1927.

The Billingham novels are great. Highly recommended. No substitute for a copy of Lungbarrow though!
