A book: Newton MessagePad Handbook, 1996. (The Newton interface is wild and wonderful, and quite alien for those who’ve only seen post-95 Windowsalike OSs. I wish more people had experienced it.)

the newton messagepad 120 in its case's holster. the front of the holster ((a little oddly)) resembles crotchless underwear.. this is so you can depress the button that flips up the newtons cover without removing it from the case!! peep the cutout so the apple logo on the device shows through!! fucken nerds

the velcro strap that you can unfasten to more easily get the messagepad out of its weird underwear/diaper shaped holster

the back of the holster, which gives you access to the switch that locks the PCMCIA card slot on the messagepad-- AGAIN allowing you to use the device without ever removing it!

.. but it also allows use to use your messagepad while its still in the case,, AND the holster makes it look like its in a little BABY CARRIER!!

peak design. call me impressed!!

the first "tabs" of the black leather Newton Messagepad case-- on the left a section for holding ID, business cards, and cash; on the right a shallow folder for your checkbook!!

the next tab-- one that holds 3 PCMCIA cards. beneath this is a pocket that holds the manual. the spine of the rectangular case can hold pens, pencils, and styluses!

the case that came with my Newton Messagepad is SUPER ultra!! not only can it hold your ID card,, PCMCIA cards,, and surplus styluses..
