There was an attempt to restart the Wildstorm titles as their own thing, called "The Wild Storm". That's what I was thinking of.

It's funny to point out that progression relies on a Stormwatch/Aliens crossover one-shot. Kinda like reminding people that Rom, Spaceknight is how we got Forge and a huge piece of X-Men lore...

Right, but if she is going to be the first/only Engineer then she should have created them herself. There have been alternate versions of Angela-as-Engineer where she invented them.

(What I want is a big-screen adaptation of one of Warren Ellis' Authority arcs but that probably shouldn't happen, for several reasons)

I was not thrilled with the idea that she did not come up with the nanotech herself. (She's "The Engineer" after all!)
It'll be interesting to see what they do with her and whether she gets tweaked in The Authority

Oh come on this isn’t a close call.

i'm not saying this is the version they need to use but the version of Vandal from Young Justice—the self-styled "greatest hero in history" who has plans for humanity that span centuries—was pretty damn good.

I did NOT know that he wrote "Ruling From The Tomb", an episode of the B5 spinoff Crusade, making him the only person besides JMS to write episodes of both shows.

He also wrote two episodes of and a trilogy of books for Babylon 5: "Soul Mates", "There All the Honor Lies", and the Legions of Fire/Centauri Prime trilogy of novels.

How many of PAD's Star Trek novels and comics did I read? As many as I could; he was one of my favorites. Best wishes to his family and loved ones.
