The state of the union?

Great for the wealthy who continue to exploit the system and workers in one fell swoop, padding their pockets at every step.

Not so good for the rest of us.

@sbworkersunited.org is still fighting for dignity and wages nationwide, but particularly in LA for fair hours and scheduling alongside @cafastfoodunion.org.

1200 employees at MarinHealth Medical Center in Greenbrae did a 24-hour strike over health care costs and delayed contract negotiations; management canceled bargaining sessions and locked them out for two additional days.

KAISER NURSES END HISTORIC STRIKE AGAINST $76 BILLION HEALTH CARE GIANT, RETURN TO WORK WITH HARD-WON PATIENT SAFETY PROTECTIONS – UNAC/UHCP

While @nynurses.bsky.social at Presbyterian got a win, healthcare professionals still are fighting.

Nurses and healthcare professionals at UNAC/UHAC returned to work while still bargaining for real gains on safe staffing, recruitment, and retention, all of which have impacts on patient safety.

Lorain County Job and Family Services workers filed an unfair labor practice charge, asking for a $1 per hour wage increase to match surrounding counties.

ASU dining hall workers are striking because wages are low, understaffing and turnover is too prevalent, and donating plasma to keep a roof over your head isn’t a suitable answer.

Baristas at the Disneyland Resort have hit 100 days on ULP strike!

Going on strike this long isn't an easy decision, but it's also a necessary one. It would take Starbucks less than just 1 day's sales to finalize a multi-year contract with better pay, hours, and protections.

JUST. ONE. DAY.

Companies like Starbucks are scared of workers unionizing because when we take action together, we can win material change instead of empty promises.

After taking action, these baristas won their union despite Starbucks trying hard to stop workers from organizing! ✊
