A fatal flaw of mine is I say I'm not going to turn on a hockey game because it's late and I want to sleep, only to obsessively check the score on Google, usually for the rest of the game that I could've just turned on.

My favorite touch from the song Your Needs, My Needs is that Noah Kahan used the lyric "subtle change" to trigger a pretty abrupt change in the song. I love when production matches the lyrics/is used for the overall metaphor of the song.

There's a line in the book I'm reading that's something along the lines of "his brain is really bad at remembering to wash the dishes or do laundry but really good at coming up with reasons to be anxious" and damn I didn't know they were writing books about me now.

Fr, I got so mad last year because ONE LGBTQ book got a nod for romance and it was for a book I DNF’d, and this year it’s even worse. It’s resulting in so many great queer adult romances getting snubbed for no reason.

First-Time Caller is also probably the closest we got to LGBTQ rep in the romance nominees this year because there were gay side characters, which is awful on Goodreads part

I loved First-Time Caller, it was definitely my token straight romance choice for the year but I read a bunch of books that were either as good or better and they weren’t nominated 😭

The Goodreads Choice awards are always really lame and yet I keep looking at the nominees as if more than 3 of the books I've read and loved are going to be nominated.
