But Ashe (SDM 35) is so cute, and my friend also has a 35... They could be cute together.

I've gone with one doll and come home with two before so it's not like it's out of question, but I'm lazy and will be in Japan for so long that I'm worried I'll end up with too much stuff and will have a problem getting multiple boxes of checked luggage back to the airport 🫣

I think the friend that I'm going to Dolpa with is going to pick a carrier up for me in advance, so the urge to bring a SDM in addition to a SD16 is even higher now 🤡

I don't think I paid much attention to what was released last Dolpa after they announced more leather shoes lol. Once they announced leather shoes I couldn't see anything else.

Still thinking about trying to bring 2 dolls on my trip 🤡

I couldn’t really replicate it though, even using my portable lamp, it kept overexposing the image after I took this one 😭

Another photo in project indigo. It’s blurry around the eyes, but probably the clearest photo my phone has ever gotten of one of my SD’s faces.

I think its automatic processing is softer than the iOS camera app’s automatic processing, especially in terms of colors.

It’s a little bit better at focusing on my doll’s eyes too.

Trying project indigo. I think it’s a bit of an improvement over my phone’s native camera app in some areas.

These are the only 18mm eyes I have on hand and they don't suit them at all (or fit very well), so they keep throwing me off and I feel like something is wrong with my mockups, but I think it's just the eyes.

I think I'm happy with these mockups for my oldskin michael (left) and pureskin michael (right).

Michael is such an asymmetrical sculpt that this was really hard to do. I hope the faceup artist has an easier time of it 😭

When I painted my Tohya's mockup I had to account for their droopy lip and ask to have one side of the upper lip painted a little higher than the other to even it out a bit.

I think the asymmetry is really charming, but this must be so challenging for the faceup artist.

I think Enku-san probably sculpted them, they have a lot of similarities (especially in their asymmetry!!) to the 4 sisters heads in my opinion. Enku-san, what were you doing... 😂

I'm painting a digital mockup for my Michaels and I am pretty sure whoever sculpted them did it while drunk. They're so asymmetrical 😂

I love their sculpt so much but this is really difficult!

The 2006 Zoukeimura eyes aren’t even from the era that was considered to be good quality, but the newer eyes are just so sad 😭

Forgot to add that it was Fukunaga.
They make a pear tart that’s really similar to the pear tart I got at the Tenshi no Sato cafe several years ago and haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since 😂
Part of me even wonders if they’re where Sato sources their cakes.

If I bring Justine (2nd Oscar) I also run into the problem of what does she wear, how many outfits am I bringing, and can I justify packing a beautiful but really large dress? 😂
I’m definitely overthinking this lol
