Super-producer Bill Dare dies - British Comedy Guide Prolific comedy producer and writer Bill Dare, perhaps best known as the creator of Dead Ringers, has died following an accident.

Really sad to hear we have lost Bill Dare, worked with him on the Mary Whitehouse Experience. He was funny and he was kind and that is about as good as it gets.

The Ring has come full circle. Four delightful days with Regents Opera, experiencing the best of opera alongside the most creative output fringe theatre has to offer. Feeling a little bereft after Götterdämmerung – the gods have faced their twilight, and I’ll miss the lovely new friends I’ve made!

SO glad I didn’t miss ‘fringe’ Regents Opera’s Das Rheingold kicking off their complete Ring Cycle at York Hall. Small-scale Wagner, but nothing diminutive about their talent & creativity.
James Schouten was a fabulous Loge – great elocution too!
