My wife and I are fortunately both introverts. Even family is too much for us. With the few years we have left it's all about us. Everyone else can take care of themselves. Not our job anymore. We put in our time and now it's time for us.

where they take a pint of blood out of me every other month. I call them the "vampire treatments." Each day I wake up and I'm amazed that I'm here another day. That's when I count my blessings. Don't sweat the small stuff.

I have all very good doctors. Have about 12 doctors that are keeping me going. I have so many problems it's a challenge coordinating all the medications and treatment. We are doing everything we can to prevent strokes through medication and I have phlebotomies...
The way we handle it is we just count our blessings everyday. I have this saying that I've had since my thirties. Never trade your problems for someone else's, because they're probably worse. I lost a lot of very special people in my life when they were too young. The losses made each day precious.
01.03.2026 06:25 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0It's tough. We never make it through, but we do work through it day by day there really is no way to work through this. It's constant grief, a new loss every hour. Maddening.

He's an absolute psychopath!
How could you possibly conduct a fundraising campaign on the night of your attack on Iran, a possible Middle East-wide War?
I heard that for every day you're laid up in a hospital it takes one week to recover your strength.

What president wears a baseball cap while conducting a major war, spending over $100 billion to conduct the war? He treats it like a sports event. No better than MAGA, team USA! USA! USA!
I'll say it since no one else is saying it. He's effing demented.
Maybe Trump attacked Iran because the name only has four letters in it and he can pronounce it.

I've said it to my wife several times. I'm glad we got covid together. It would be hard on the other to see what the other was going through and not understand how it affected the other.
We are being patient and hoping that within 6 months we can get our strength back.

bizarre. If I turned right while standing, I would immediately fall down and have no ability to stop my fault. It happened the first time on a floating dock. It has taken me 2 years for my brain to create new neural networks that allow me to compensate for the stroke, not perfect, but damn good.

She could actually replicate the symptoms. She ordered a CAT scan and it came back that I had three strokes, two in the four brain and the major one in the right cerebellum, where balance and visual coordination happen. It was such a relief to have it confirmed.
The cerebellum stroke was...

What I thought I had a stroke, I went to my ophthalmologist, cardiologist, hematologist and PCP. None of them thought I had a stroke. I knew I had a stroke. So finally I got to a neurologist. Took months to get in. She did a simple clinical test with the eyes and confirmed I'd had a stroke.
I'll put this very simply. Truth is like that.

Trump's already bored with the Iraq War after 12 hours and is having a fundraising event tonight at Mar-A-Lago. I'm not kidding, as Dave Barry would say.
So does that mean that he is going to attack Greenland sometime this week?
