Oh good lord, that’s awful. I don’t use insta much and had no idea about that feature. 😬 I’m so sorry you’ve had to deal with that - it really does feel like the big social media companies are just handing ammo to trolls & stalkers sometimes.

There was a Tumblr post a while back that said something like: "it's weird people would assume someone's fandom blog is an accurate record of all their most deeply-held beliefs in priority order of importance, because for one thing most of my deeply-held beliefs are not about Star Wars" and: yes.

Honestly I kind of hope it keeps going as a fandom space so that the people who thrive in that sort of environment can stay there getting furious with each other in an environment they clearly find satisfying and the rest of us can live in peace elsewhere.

doing a little wiki research for my LOTRO fic, and discovered that sauron has a -15 dread effect (the worst in the game) and celebrimbor has +8 hope, meaning that anyone standing between them just feels a -7 aura of depression.
