Mazinkaiser SKL is what you get if you take devil side Mazin(Kaiser), give him two pilots from Devilman (code names for Kaido and Magami are Amon6 and Lucifer4, the demons of the two main characters in Devilman) and drop it in the Kanto Hell Zone from Violence Jack. It has heavy ties to Nagai’s work

99% of SRW attack names are either lifted from yelled super robot moves or just literally what the attack/weapon is. There's a few interesting ones out there though, I'm working on a video going over SRW attack name choices.

Walker Gallia's final attack, "ICBM Toss" was named in Super Robot Wars and~

That’s what I liked about the ending. He got his revenge, plain and simple. No deep development about whether or not revenge is good or bad or for what reasons, he just got it and stayed a vagrant lol

Dann of Thursday's final attack, "God's Judgment" was named in Super Robot Wars and is in reference to the name Dann, which in Hebrew means "Judge". It's also meant to be ironic, as the Claw is essentially trying to play "God", and Van is passing down (God's) Judgment onto him.

I am meticulously organizing every mecha anime onto my file server by release year (fansub or otherwise). I also grabbed emulators for each SRW game.

The plan is to drop the hammer and marathon every SRW game AND watch every mecha anime in release order, starting with Toei Mazinger Z. Soon™

I bet they gave the God Gundam all new attack animations for this one, I don't think we'll be getting any carry over from T (hopefully)
