Its been weighing on me and my family is fed up of living in a construction zone. So i'll be overjoyed when its done. Its very frustrating my body dosent work as fast as my head does. #NotAloneTalk

Ive been at it for a couple of months as it need wall paper stripping and filling and sanding and caulking. I can only manage a bit at a time. Still have to do the doors and skirting boards. But its so much closer to new carpet time!

Sorry you've had a bad day. Ive been painting my lounge. Took 3 tins of paint before i found a shade of beige I liked. So happy its done. But I did too much & now im in pain. #NotAloneTalk

One wall to paper. Some tiles to put on the fire place and then paint everything. Then we can get new carpets fitted which im really looking forward to. At the speed I can work, it may be another month. But slow and steady will get me there. #NotAloneTalk

I gave myself too many! My top one is to get healthier so i can attend Autys primary school graduation & performance in July. I still cant walk far or stand for long, so im hoping I can get stronger for then. Ive lost 12 lbs so far. I also want to watercolour more and learn the piano. #NotAloneTalk

Hi, my hubby got me some more lining paper so i can finish prepping my lounge for painting. Its been a super slow process as i can only manage to do it in little bits. But inching closer to the finish. #NotAloneTalk

Ive always got a few books on the go. Im a vibe reader so somedays its a romance/fantasy, the next a suspense/mystery and then some thing silly. I mostly listen to the radio so i get a mix. I last watched a crime document & a movie called Ballerina which is part of the John Wick world. #NotAloneTalk

Its a bit of a mix. A dark blue for the fireplace and bookcase on either side & then a beige/ pink for the walls. I have a big bay window with a comfy reading nook. Its dopamine decore. Bold colours, personal touches, fun shapes. #NotAloneTalk

I put together a vivarium. My daughter is getting a leopard geko and its been quite a task to set up. Fingers crossed everythings will run as it should and make a nice home for it. #NotAloneTalk

My dad is awsome at mending/building things. But hes 95 now, so we only do tiny jobs together. We did a whole rip out and remodel in my first house. But we moved to be near my parents to look after them. # NotAloneTalk

Auty insists! I really struggled to cope with the sensory hell of the horrible sticky icing and the frustration of trying to make it stay together. But adding gum drops and sprinkles at the end is fun. We never celebrated xmas before Auty & i feel pressure to make it magical #notAloneTalk

My dad popped over to help me fix a storage box. The lid kept flying off. Was nice to spend some time together, even if it was freezing. #NotAloneTalk

Auty is very excited. Christmas prep does feel a slog. I wish i could get in the spirit rather than it feeling like an endless chore list. Gingerbread houses tomorrow. #NotAloneTalk.

The scary bit for me was the waves. We were in a really rough sea where the swells were about 16 foot and I was so miserably sea sick. The sharks were the least scary bit. I love whale watching too! #NotAloneTalk

We used to travel a lot and had some lovely holidays on my birthday. I much prefer experiences to things. I went shark cage diving for one of mine and it was fab. My husband always asks for an animal experiences for his, and for his last birthday it was Tapir’s. #NotAloneTalk

She is most into singing and claims she’s awful at art. I think I know all the K pop Demon hunter songs now since she hasn’t stopped singing them since the movie came out! She also loves animals & did a researched cost breakdown report of owning a gecko as she badly wants a pet! #NotAloneTalk

My house is full of craft stuff. Things I’ve kept in case my daughter wanted to create something. But she’s out grown that stage now. Ive got rid of all the storage drawers & reducing what I’m keeping. Feels nice to reclaim some space. But bittersweet as my kiddo is growing up fast. #NotAloneTalk
