Cael couldn't hide the laugh that slipped out, gently patting Wolf on the shoulder.

"Welcome to old age, pup."

"Hah. Fighting styles this, techniques that.

Call me when you want someone to teach that boy how to fight dirty in a pinch."

"I take it Fox and I aren't the first you've extended a private invitation there to before, are we?" Krys joked, giving Wolf a teasing wink.

"That does sound nice, though. I'll let Fox know when he comes home and see what he thinks."

"Not to worry, I can arrange for a lighter yet durable metal to be used. Not that I would force you to wear it. It can be purely ornamental as well."

Noticing the reddening of Marcus' cheeks, Krys gave a playful laugh. "You'd give your opponents quite the eye-catching distraction, at least."

"Mmm, I'll keep that little tidbit to myself. He's in for a busy week, I'm sure you'll find your way back home before he notices."

Sighing, Krys gazed fondly at Marcus, pride in his eyes. "I'll miss you too until then."

"They did an impressive job. And for someone who has little knowledge of Cerinian culture, they did a fine job replicating our design.

Next time I'll see about having a set made for you, if you like."

"You could never let me down, Marcus." Krys assured his son, though he couldn't help but smile. Marcus really took after Fox.

"The important thing to me is that you're safe and in good hands. Say hello to the other Fox, Wolf and Krys for me, will you?"

"I've noticed my old battle gear hasn't been fitting me anymore. I suppose I've been hitting the gym a tad too much.

Does this new set look okay?"

Krys thought over the question. He knew of many good planets to visit this time of year, of course.

"Actually, Fox and I were thinking you could choose our destination this time."

"Multiversal mishaps again, son?" Krys asked, amusement in his tone.

Cael cracked a small smile at that.

"Heh, yeah. Good to see you too, pup. You and...all the other yous that are running around lately."

He accepted the kiss, giving one to each of the lupine's cheeks.

"You know Fox. Duty never stops calling. I convinced him to take this weekend off, though. We should all spend it together."

Can't help it if I'm long-lived and look good."

"I'm starting to see why Fox is so taken with you, Wolf.

I can't say I'm not enjoying the view either."

Krys took a moment to look over the human. "And I've never seen your face around before."

"Mm, I may just plan a visit to your castle some time, then."

"Don't hold back, I'm curious to see what you have in mind..."

Krys glanced toward the trap, then back to Jeremiah.

"Oh, that? I set that earlier." The blue fox clarified, amused at the other's concern.
