Is it just me or does anyone else think that Doris Burke is an idiot? Her uncritical peddling of the
line that « SGA is a foul merchant » is tiring and dumb. Please replace her - Malika Andrews would be a good replacement.

It wasn’t pretty, but 2-2. Awful shooting has to improve. Three missed free throws by SGA?! Uncharacteristically poor ball handling. That could’ve been the difference had DEN won.

Either they’ve forgotten everything on which Chip Engelland worked with them or Chip is totally overrated.

Either I now understand why fans of our opponents during the Russ OKC years hated him or he’s just gotten more insufferable since the 2019-20 season.

I’m not certain if the seeming lack of focus is something to worry about as the competition ramps up or whether, the last two games, we were playing down to our competition or, at any rate, not wanting to curb stomp them in their home arena.

Honestly, we (OKC) were unfocused last night and they - to their credit - were laser focused. My takeaway? Nothing. It was a game they needed to win and a game which - don’t get me wrong - we wanted to win, but which we didn’t want to win at the expense of giving away strategy or risking injuries.

We seemed unfocused for much of the game and barely focused in the moments when we weren’t completely unfocused. Rockets - to their credit - were prepared and determined.

Kirby was 11 months when I adopted him nearly 4 years ago, so this is the earliest picture I have of him.

Inching closer. Since one of the principal arguments amongst the « Jokić for MVP » crowd is his triple double rate, should JWill now be in the MVP conversation?

And that was the highlight of his game. He’s definitely not an NBA player. So glad we signed Ajay to the full contract - even if he doesn’t play another minute this season (when some were advocating for Carlson to get the final spot)

Let’s not forget the emergence of Ous, too. 16 on 6-10, 6 boards, 2 blocks. Might have had more than 1 assist if he passed to anyone not named Carlson.

This was definitely a watch out what you wish for game for Carlson.

Knicks have no bench. They might come back and win this one against a woefully underperforming Boston team, but they’re no match for OKC or Cleveland, both of whom have better starters and significantly better benches.

Right and maybe takes something less than the max. It gives me confidence that he won’t be going down the KD road.
