Taken near Neah Bay, WA July 17, 2025. Neah Bay is the closest town to Cape Flattery, the northwestern-most point in the contiguous United States. The drive along the coast was gorgeous. You can see Vancouver Island across the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

Combining Google Earth and USGS geologic maps => 3d geological maps. I’ve seen this outcrop many times and always thought it was Kaibab Limestone. Turns out only half of it is. Beaver Damn Mountains, Old Highway 91, Washington County, Utah.
