That’s what i remember tbh :/ Digimon is the only monster game I haven’t really played cuz idk where to start. I was really hoping for temtem to be great but by the time temtem came out Pokemon had somehow outdone it.

I definitely think all Pokemon games have never been as good as people think they were. I tried to reply Gen 7 once and just couldn’t get very far lol. I should reply it though just because id like to see why I didn’t like it so much.

Yah I love x and y. I think they are pretty fun games only major issue with them is the lack of post game. I don’t really care for gen 7. Either way they were all fun to shiny hunt in and have some great monster designs.

About them that I don’t like. I found them kinda boring. Like at least swsh held my attention.

I’ve seen plenty of people who look back at swsh with fondness. I think only because of the dlc. I don’t think swsh are as bad as people make them out to be but I’m not going to deny that they are incredibly lazy. Gen 7 is my least favorite gen. I don’t even know why tbh there’s just something

I think x and y has the best art style of all the 3d pokemon games. I agreed that the pixel art is much better but with x and y I feel like there was a sense of direction with the art style. After gen 7 the art style looks like a forced generic anime style.

People tend to be overly agressive towards people who like the games.

Out of proportion for what it is. I’m specially not buying z-a. I think the games have issues. That doesn’t mean they aren’t fun and that people wont remember them as such. Pokemon games go through a cycle of hate unfortunately. Like I get it, its good to point out the issues the games have but

The thing is… in 5 years people will be reminiscing about how fun z-a was. People are already doing it with swsh. People will complain more then it’s worth then realize later that they had a lot of fun. I’m not saying to give Nintendo a free pass. I’m saying that the hate for the games are blown

Idk I’m just ranting blah blah.

I still think that Nintendo are a very childish company but the games they make are good and the hate I keep seeing on z-a is just people blowing it all out of proportion. Like if you don’t like it don’t buy it. Move on play something else stop trying to make others feel bad for having fun.

Also I’m not sitting here saying x and y are perfect, no Pokemon game really is, but the level of hate people have towards new pokemon games is likely just hysteria. Like Gen 5 is considered to be one of the best pokemon games and I remember the absolute hatred they got.

Playing through y and realizing how cute this game really is. I remember how much people online hated x/y when it came out. I really think it was unjustified. People have been hating Pokemon games the moment they come out for years now. I think people just like to hate new things.
