Banks are even worse, if you migrate the app you can open up the app and see your account so you think everything migrated. Then if you try to view the actual account it figures out that the device changed and then basically flush all data and you have to sign in with your card and token.

Well I almost fell into this trap - if you migrate your iPhone, Apple pushes you to immediately reset the old one. Next up multiple Authenticator apps tell you they migrated your codes.. it then don’t. Also Authy killed their desktop app, causing for a tricky landscape.

In the Netherlands they are forced to disable it for their education installs.

A while ago, I released "We Are Stardust". Physical editions included a #C64 game by Megastyle (awesome retro devs) with 8-bit versions of the album’s songs as the soundtrack. Here’s the game loading from glow-in-the-dark vinyl 👾 Audio noise = data, loaded in real-time. So proud we pulled this off!
