Mambo says "Shoot. I forgot to make reservations and the milk bar is really busy tonight!" (But don't worry, one of the patrons wandered off and there was space for him.)

YOU GUYS. I saw this freckle on Mambo's nose and got SO EXCITED because it was going to make it easy to tell him apart from Tango. But then I touched it and it fell right off. It was just a bit of dirt. Darn it!

Hooray, hooray! Andi, our foster who was adopted back in February and then recently returned, has been adopted again, and went home today! Happy life, sweet girl! ❤️ (I am reusing the picture I posted when she was adopted in February.)

Esmeralda's gotten more playful these past few days, and one of the things she's been playing with is the track ball toy!

🎉 Former foster Pippin (formerly Carmy) is helping to sort papers. Sharon said: "He is a bundle of energy much of the day, so him just hanging out is a bit of a surprise. " (Thanks, Sharon!)

Mambo and Tango are figuring out how to wrassle, and Sashay and Flamenco are taking baths. I am so ready for them to leave the crate!

Flamenco's keepin' it clean.

The kittens are really getting the hang of this "walking" thing. Look at 'em motoring around that crate!

Sashay's all "We're not coming out THERE, are you CRAZY? There's a lady out there who grabs us up and kisses us all the time. It's not SAFE."

Throw Back Thursday, from 2014. This is Winn Dixie (from the Grocers litter) (there used to be a cat game app where the cats would basically take pictures of themselves when they batted at the screen and this excellent picture came from that app.)

ChaCha's motto: Always Be Purring.

Throw Back Thursday: in 2020, we fostered 15 kittens - the Vittles - at the same time (not all related to each other). It was as nuts as you'd imagine... and they all had ringworm. This litter led directly to Fred's rule of "No more 15 kittens at one time."

Esmeralda has really started to play in the last few days, and we got out the disc launcher (and little launcher that shoots the plastic discs you'll see in the video) to see if she'd like it. Turns out she's a fan!

I was bringing this box upstairs to put in the kitten room, and Esmeralda climbed right in and claimed it as her own!

Tango says "Flamenco, stop wiggling around. I'm trying to use you as a pillow!"

🎉 Former foster Branwen (formerly Juniper) is celebrating her 9th Gotcha Day! Tamra reports that "She rules our household with a soft paw. She is a talkative house panther and we are her biggest fans. Meep, Meep from one of Branwen's friends!" Happy Gotcha Day, sweet girl! (And thanks Tamra!)

Esmeralda is SO curious about the Roomba. Not curious enough to get TOO close, but she will follow it around and keep a close eye on it the entire time it's working. (I always expect fosters to be scared of the Roomba, and they're almost always wary but curious.)

Esmeralda likes being held like a baby. (But denies being Da BAYbee.)

The kittens are toddling around the crate while mama gets a (well-deserved) break.

🎉 Former foster Dahlia (formerly Hazel) is a petite girl, but her much larger brother Dandelion knows who's in charge. (I think he likes her.) (Thanks, Tabatha!)

I poked Tango's little pink belly and he gave me this grumpy look. (So I kissed him 1 million times.)
