Today's Rumdangle is REAL DANG TIRED of those other monkeys picking on Punch, and he's THISCLOSE to hopping a plane to Japan and stomping on down to the Ichikawa City Zoo to set matters straight.

If you were curious, one of those outlet covers will handily hold a 5 pound kitten without breaking. (I mean, it probably wouldn't hold up FOREVER, but for brief times when the kitten is trying to figure out how to jump from there to the counter top, it holds up just fine.)

A belated happy 10th birthday to 🎉 former fosters Patches (gray & white, formerly Art Vandelay) and Peri (Bert Macklin)! The Cat Distribution System sent them a little orange brother - Wesley - last year, and Kristin reports that "Patches seems to have a second kitten hood due to Wesley!"

Tossing toys for the kittens. Rum is really loving those ping pong balls lately!

🎉 Former fosters TC (Thunderclap Newman) and Jethro Tull, who we fostered in 2014 (!) Bonnie says: "While TC (Thunderclap Newman) strikes a pose on the stovetop, Brother Jethro Tull takes it easy as he waits for his night time treats. We love these beautiful boys so much."

(Confession: every time I see Kate - or any other non-Rum cat - doing the dangle, I am struck with the urge to proclaim "Baby Fish Mouth is sweeping the nation!" It's a line from "When Harry Met Sally" and it makes no sense at all in this particular situation, and yet.)

Reverb sure loves that yellow spring. I'm not sure why he felt the need to walk through the spiral tunnel and CatLadyBox with on his way to the big box - that boy just cracks me UP.

Reverb's working the kissing/hissing booth for the next little while, so pucker up!

Is it just me, or does the white blotch on Reverb's chest look like a cat's head?

Kate is starting to hang out in (and on) that wall cubby more and more. I'm glad she's enjoying it!

Today's Rumdangle wants none of your nonsense.

🎉 Former foster Rupert (formerly Richie)! His brother Pippin was at the water bowl, so he got some water from the sink instead - and in the 2nd pic, he's snuggled up to Sharon, waiting for her to finish work. What a gorgeous (and did I mention sweet?) boy! (Thanks, Sharon!)

Ollie has returned to Michelle's house (Michelle is who I foster under.) He still has an upper respiratory infection, but in the last few days stopped taking his antibiotic. Michelle's much better at medicating, so back he went. He'll rejoin us when he's better, hopefully soon.

Rum has a purrrrr, and everyone is just settling down in preparation for nap time, I suspect.

I'm tossing toys for the kittens, and they seem to be enjoying it!
