Gwyn is no more. I've finally beaten Dark Souls Remastered as I vowed about a month ago, without playing another game on my PS5. I'm kinda sad, kinda happy. I don't think the feeling has settled in yet. Thank you to everyone who followed me for this!

Dark Souls Diary: Day 20

Defeated Pinwheel in the Catacombs and Gravelord Nito in the Tomb of the Giants. Spared Crossbreed Priscilla, but committed princeslaying against Gwyndolin (and Gwynevere but shhh). Met Gwyn and his fire sword which wrecked me. At last, the end is near.

Made my way through the Crystal Cave and defeated Seath. Managed to get the Moonlight Greatsword. Went back to the Demon Ruins and defeated the Discharge, the Firesage and the Centipede. Reached Lost Izalith and dealt with the atrocious Bed of Chaos.

Fucking finally, almost seven days without playing

I think it's important to note that the original is a janky piece of crap that needed several patches (both official and unofficial) to even be playable and this game appears to be significantly worse

Dark Souls Diary: Day 18 (belatedly)

Reached New Londo Ruins and defeated the Four Kings (thanks to Witch Beatrice). Took a revenge on the Stray Demon. Made my way to the Duke's Archive where I was killed by Seath. Got helped by a player named Snowflake until I died stupidly.

Artorias? Down! It took me 28 tries to get him but I got him, and his armor. Attempted Kalameet once and failed. I did beat Manus alongside Sif, though! So we're done with the DLC. Defeated Sif in the present, and it pains me so fucking much. Also-

Wow, two weeks' worth of Dark Souls already? Time flies when you're having fun!

Went to the Duke's Archives and immediately got the item required to enter the DLC. Defeated the Sanctuary Guardian before being cut in half by best boy Artorias.

Wouldn't even be surprised if somewhere down the line, they'd ask AI to train them to fight AI-controlled robots 🙄
