NBA Cup: all of teams in the HOU group (C) are 1-1, which means that the loss vs Spurs to open the group stage for HOU didn’t hurt as much as folks complained about.

8-3 is a really solid record to start the season. They are winning vs teams they should beat.

Tonight the MAGA GOP led by Trump is introducing reeducation programs and labeling a cause (anti-fascism) as a terrorist organization. They have strong armed a billion dollar organization, ABC, to “indefinitely suspend” Jimmy Kimmel.

It’s the #4thofjuly. There are a group of selfish people who worship the MAGA GOP that think yesterday’s bill passing Congress will help them in the long term.

The MAGA GOP politicians played you and want you to die.

I wasn’t able to post tonight. That being said I’m so proud of this #Rockets team. To get this series to a game 7 is great. There isn’t anything to feel sad about. They overachieved this season.

I hope Stone makes minimum moves to improve this team. This team will be special. No doubt.

#Rockets today is the day. I don’t have any major analysis, but I’ll say this. It’s been way too many years since that team from CA has had HOU’s number. I need for every single Rockets player to put everything on the line.

It’s a team sport. Let’s show who is the better team.

I have tickets to Sunday’s game 7. #Rockets fans better be loud and ready to cheer on your team. We need to support these men to do what was thought impossible.

I know folks call the #Rockets “young” but they always forget that FVV, Adams, Brooks, Holiday, and Uncle Jeff are on the team (I guess you can count Landale too). A very solid mix of veterans with playoff experience to match the young guys.

Just fight with every single bit of what you have #Rockets. The rest will fall where it will.

#Rockets AM thought

Game 6. Same goal as game 5. Minimize OTs, make FTs, don’t let the opponent antagonize the team, score points.

When the Rockets focus on their strengths they are the better team. My main concerns is refs but can’t do much about that.

Bring the series back to HOU.

Game 6 for the #Rockets will almost certainly be 8v5.

They better prepare for that and get a great enough lead so that the refs can’t put their mark on it.

Lakers couldn’t even get a second win this postseason. Yikes.

… will almost without any doubt be plays that will be run for number 30 on Friday.

Another positive from that bad 4Q is that they now have tape they can use to strategize against those sets.

A lot of lessons learned in a game with positives. They will help for Friday.

In G6 the team the #Rockets are facing are going to use a lot of the adjustments that their coach made post pulling their starters. The college defensive presses they were running were frustrating sets that HOU has to prepare for. Also a lot of the plays Knox was running…

I hope Udoka lights every players ass on fire about the sloppiness in the 4Q. Not just because it risks injury to the starting rotation, but it lost a lot of confidence for the rest of the bench.

The #Rockets can’t have those lapses the rest of the series.

1 game down, 2 to go.

As for the end of this game I strongly believe that it may be a good thing. It would’ve been great if the team was able to waltz through the 4Q, but their opponent reminded them that nothing in game 6 will be given to them.

#Rockets have to continue to tire the other team out. Don’t let up the rest of this game. Just blow out these folks by 50 if need be. Then we’ll talk about what needs to happen after that.

A thought: immediately after that game on Monday I had a feeling that the #Rockets could get 3 games in a row for some reason. It felt as clear as day.

Of course my delusion could be the highest it can be, but it felt good for a moment.

Let’s keep hope alive.

Well, today is game 5. No need to explain the #Rockets situation, that’s been explained by many.

I said I wouldn’t complain about last night’s game, but I will complain about a single thing: why the hell was Draymond out there at the end of the game?

5 fouls, 1 technical, 1 flagrant. Yet the antics he did let him stay in the game?

I’m not going to pout or be sad about this game. HOU did almost everything they could. Only thing that was in their control was FTs and that was the real failure.

Now every game is an elimination game. Just use that as motivation. 3-0 gets you to round 2. We’ve seen it before.

That being said regardless of the final series outcome I’m proud of this team.

Fuck Golden State, all day every day.

Bring it home to Houston and play one game at a time. That’s all they can now do.
