Thanks! Someone else mentioned that too! I just did what came naturally to me and since I’m used to working with watercolours I probably did use more watercolour techniques than I was aware of. I like the effect it gave though so I’m not complaining. ☺️

My second attempt with acrylic paints created this sweet #painting. There’s a big difference between working with charcoal/watercolor and working with acrylic paints but I think I’m starting to get the hang of it and I feel excited to keep going with the medium.

Thanks! I felt the same way. Started with the background not really having anything planned out and felt that autumn colours would look really nice with what I had.

I usually work with charcoal and watercolours but tried my hand at acrylics with these flowers and really loved lt! I’ll keep going with acrylics and see where it takes me. :)

I painted some roses in watercolor and gouache. I played around with the colors of the wash and then just went with whatever I had to work with. It felt both fun and freeing! What do you think?

Thanks so much! The idea popped into my head when I was drawing snails just for practice. I wouldn’t have been able to move on to something else so I had to let the idea out of my head by attaching it to paper. I’m glad you like it! :D

That sounds much like the same reasons I had. I deleted my account because I just couldn’t be associated with any meta platform any longer. It’s disgusting how the straight up oligarchs are abusing the power that comes with that type of wealth to dismantle democracy in the west.

This is the third one in a #watercolor series I call ”The Chew Crew”. It’s watercolor and #ink on 300g/m2 #Arches paper. Size is 20x20cm. This piece has been sold but I still love it so much.
