Placed under the elbow on the forearm is a finer line tattoo of a bat. Both wings are up in flight. Sporting big ears, a funky nose, and a tongue out on his fuzzy lil body, this bat is having a great time.

this one is the ultimate "trust me it'll look better healed". Just something about this type of shading!

Some sort of oakish leaf tattoo. The stem and vines are bold black lines, while the rest of the leaf is just shaded with no outline. The few overlapping bits are a darker shade, creating an almost 3D effect. Located under the knee wrapping towards the calf.

Illuminated by a well timed sunbeam is a tattoo of three cicada wings strung together by a ribbon. There are two large wings and one secondary wing. The tattoo is placed right underneath an older (not by me) crescent moon tattoo with figures sitting atop.

Wing Charm

A vampire skeleton in knight armor. A stake is pierced through the back of the head, emerging through an empty eye socket. There are pops of red in the fangs and throughout some details in the stake. Black and grey, located on the shoulder.

Same description as before, though this angle shows the back of the head/stake better. The back of the stake reaches closer to the scapula. It features a sun detail with red orb gems.

But these sketches feel so right! I only used the eraser to draw whiskers and lighter hair, not for correcting. I'll have to continue sketchin with the smudge tool

I love drawing with graphite, and translating that (and any physical art really) to digital has been frustrating for me! Everything is so precise, calculated, and sterile. I can't messily fudge things like I'm used to, and it doesn't have the same feeling.
