From Gallipoli to Australian farms: Soldier settler success and failure The WWI soldier settler scheme is largely seen as a failure, but its legacy is in tact in some Australian farming districts.

Also, the 640 acre "soldier settler" blocks were often sold off to larger farms after many years of less returns on crops, sheep and so on.

How is it that these big companies which make all these "accounting errors" always underpay their workers?
Has there ever been a case where workers have been inadvertently overpaid because of a software glitch or applying the wrong award?
I'll wait.

Yep. When I left Murdoch and became a (then) unemployed freelancer, yes, I went on 'the dole' for a while.

I had to sign up for a Sarina Russo job agency and meet the mutual obligations crap. So we saw an opportunity to both 'flip the script' and continue being a journo.

A development that is of no surprise.

The national newspaper leading the vociferous and self interested campaign against the previously proposed changes to superannuation is now raising concerns.

These relate to the projected loss of revenue, and claims that Chalmers refuses to change course. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ
