The Soul… the source of spiritual energy within us all. SoulBound is a fantasy/horror YA novel series that follows Jaelyn in her journey of understanding the strength of her soul while in search of her siblings. The series is brought to life by long time friends Aaron Waseskuk (author, he/him) and Sascha Mendez (artist, any pronouns). The duo call back to manga/anime that have influenced them such as Naruto, Avatar: The Last Airbender and Sailor Moon.

Mercury (he/him) The manager of my magical girl party in my Glitter Hearts campaign. He is a fresh graduate from San Fransokyo University that was able to sign the new team Spectrum. So far he’s been hard at work getting merch & marketing done for his new team. In his free time he watches Netflix & eats ramen.

Connor Fischer (World of Darkness, he/they) The right hand man to the prince of Frostheim (pirate city with Celtic & Norse origins). Their family serves at taking care of the darker side of politics because of this they never had many friends due to the stigma. However they are a skilled pirate (skilled in pistols, coordination & serving at First Mate) & help my group of hunters with their occult & medical knowledge. They use a mix of folk & modern medicines (using & creating) with some knowledge of magical healing. They have a love of ducks, have social anxiety, & have acidic blood due to a curse on their family line. They recently obtained a bracelet & set of rings that later was found to be a family relic weapon. Connor is still exploring all it can do.

Dr Julius Renard (World of Darkness, he/him) The mentor to my hunter group. He is descended from House Belmont & wields the Morning Star. He’s being dragged kicking & screaming into a healthier lifestyle after years of being a high functioning alcoholic & cut off from his family & friends due to losing his husband & children to vampires. While on his sabbatical from teaching he's been raising a werecougar child that's imprinted on him as well as training/mentoring the Hunter group. He's slowly crawling out of his depression pit however is still a high functioning alcoholic with lack of sleep due to being plagued by nightmares. But progress.

Lorelei “Rory” Winter (World of Darkness, she/her) An entropy/life mage from Cologne, Germany. She comes from a long line of mages & was trained by her mother & grandmother. She suffers from eldest daughter syndrome as she’s always taken a caretaker role with her younger siblings. However this has resulted in her making very few decisions for herself. During a divination reading she found a string of fate leading to her soulmate (it’s quite rare for someone to find their soulmate whether it be romantic or platonic). The only problem, the string led to Ames, IA USA. Torn between responsibilities to her family & coven & finding her own happiness she decided to take the step towards decisions for herself. After about a year of being in Ames she finally met her soulmate, Cas (one of my Hunter players). As she’s spent time with the party she’s come to see the reality of being a Hunter. When Cas was on death’s door she reflected on her next steps. Does she continue down this road despite its struggles or should she give up & avoid the constant life & death situations? She confessed to Cas her reasons for coming to America & that they are soulmates along with her growing romantic feelings towards him. The two started dating & now she aims to learn how to be a Hunter to support Cas & her new friends.

Krystal Gordan (World of Darkness, she/her) A mind/correspondence mage from the realm of mages known as Horizon. She was brought into a mountain temple after being found in the burnt remains of a nearby village. In the temple she awoke as a mage however was cursed with passive mind reading. She is able to read the surface thoughts of anyone around her. An ability that brought her few friends & no way to deactivate it. When Horizon & the Material Realm were connected once more she traveled to the capital, Concordia, with her mentor to help rebuild after the Technocracy was run out. She became intrigued by the Material Realm & was chosen to be on the first mages to cross over to the Material Realm. As the other end of the bridge was in Chicago, IL USA she was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of people & thoughts. The Chicago Mage Council worked with the vampire Prince of Iowa to move her there. She was roomed with Rory, another mage, & slowly became more accustomed with sleeper life. There are still some things she doesn’t understand but is quick to learn. She joined my Hunter party & has learned about what it means to be a Hunter. She seeks to resume her training at the temple to keep her new friends alive.

Today we’ll be discussing a set of characters who have been operating in the shadows of volume 3 for a while and it’s about time we expose them for the… well… criminals they are. I am, of course, talking about the wardens of Ducconni’s militia.

Ash Brogen (Final Fantasy 14) My Warrior of Light that I’ve played since Shadowbringers, around 2019/2020. Originally he was an alt I created when a friend of mine started to play but over time he became my main. I’ve played through up to the current patch (7.35) with him & am working on getting every job (combat, land, hand) to 100 (max level as of rn). His main jobs are: Gunbreaker (tank), Sage (healer), & Red Mage (dps). I’m sure I’ll update these at some point. I’m also working on writing up his lore & story as he’s progressed through all the expansions.

Sydney aka Brimstone (she/her) Old superhero OC that got a redesign not long ago. She is huge on social media, which was a pivotal turning point in a battle against Dormammu as she called her own Code White. She fights crimes with her parkour skills, rainbow flames & Green Lantern light. After graduating high school she continued leading her team Victory's Vanguards.

Blubella Heartstrings (Dungeon World Trickster/Pathfinder 2e Rogue w/wizard dedication, she/her) She was originally played in a Sword Art Online type of Dungeon World campaign. There she led the guild the party was in but as time went on her mental state declined. The party soon discovered her past as a founding member of the top PVP guild (Red Sparrows) in the beta along with her having psychopathic & narcissist tendencies. In the end she joined her former guild members & turned against her party. After leaving the virtual world she was hospitalized. When I ported her over to Pathfinder I retuned her a bit. She was still a founding member of the Red Sparrows but this time it's a thieves guild that wishes to expand its influence & power. I haven’t played her yet in Pathfinder but hope to bring her back one day.

Rhys (Pathfinder 2e Investigator w/Medic Dedication, he/him) An expert in forensic medicine he taught in Absolom while also assisting Starwatch with cases. In one such case he was called in for he was faced with a mysterious & magical gate. Tempted with knowledge he walked through the gate, however he did the unthinkable & came back out. While he didn’t recall any of the knowledge he gained he found that his gender was trans-ed, so we take them Ws. He does his best to support his team with his knowledge & skills but will short circuit around hot men.

Jericho Onvo (Pathfinder 2e Cleric of Ragathiel w/Blessed One Dedication, he/him) A redesign of an old OC. After the events of the Hells Rebels AP, he was adopted by a Champion of Ragathiel that helped free the city of Kintargo from Thrune. He was raised in the faith along with his 5 older adopted sisters. He keeps a calm exterior but is quick to anger & retaliation. Along with his divine magic he wields a sword & shield in the name of Ragathiel. He’s currently in a situationship with a Zon-Kuthon follower that is an awakened worm (he doesn’t know they’re a worm).
