it was something i didn’t realize i’d feel as deeply! i was more mindful of enjoying the last “quiet” time i had with alfred (knowing a puppy would add high energy) and am realizing it’s now a mix of quiet as well as 1:1 grieving 🤣 but it’s all part of the process for sure 🤎

i want to preemptively apologize for any temptations i’m so sorry 😅 but this is a super responsible thought and i’m proud of you to wait until you’re ready 🩵🩵

oh yeah the exhaustion def hits more than anything else 🤣 *always* eyes on to make sure he doesn’t get into anything. i look forward to his nap times omg

but willie has been such a good puppy so far. i’m doing by best to be strict and raise and train a wonderful, sweet, crate trained, non-reactive chill little ween 🌭

it makes my heart sad seeing alfred stressed sometimes with a puppy around (especially when willie has his puppy zoomies), but i’m sure i’m going to be so grateful i did this once they’re both older and better friends 🤎 it was important to me for alfred to not grow old alone

alfred never really socialized with other dogs much (a lot of his young formidable years were during covid), so i wanted to introduce a puppy to him so there was less intimidation and territory threat in his home. he’s doing really well with willie so far, but it’s definitely bizarre to him rn

the hardest part by far has been grieving my alone time being gone with just having alfred. i’ve been planning on getting another dog for a few months, so i’ve been more mindful of my appreciation of having just him. but it hits harder now the puppy is here.

2. i got a breast reduction‼️went from a 34H/I cup to a 34D 🥰 3lbs removed!! I’m about 9 weeks post-op rn and I feel so free a weightless and I’m so stoked for a braless happy summer 💛
