i’d also be interested to know how many women in their late 30s/early 40s *suspect* they’re neurodivergent but aren’t seeking NHS help because the NHS is as much help with non-physical ailments* as a chocolate teapot.

*i’m not saying it’s great with physical ones either (i nearly died in 2018)

there is absolutely no point in only looking at those with MH problems. if govt wants them in work, govt has to ensure that employers will do the work of facilitating that. if govt won’t do that then congrats, they’re gonna continue to be unemployed, because there are literally no other options.

i have several mental health diagnoses and have always worked, so am the uk government’s ideal. the *only* reason that this is possible is workplace accommodations. HOWEVER! i’ve had to fight my arse off to get those, and my employer *still* acts like it’s a complete shock if i get severely ill.
