where I grew up we called common terrestrial isopods: butchy boys
I learned about the pink ones, and I'm drawn to them a lot. I also learned that the vivarium they require is not too large, so it is a good pet for small spaces 🩷 when I was small I would put butchy boys in a cardboard box to watch

three of my creature designs: Cherrybun, Weehalo, and Mountick. Cherrybun is a green and red rabbit-like creature with a lit fuse for a tail. Weehalo is a small pink and black imp with small angel wings and a halo. Mountick is a purple stony beetle creature with small blue eyes and chattering teeth.

While defending the luddite argument in Discord, I stumbled into this IMO succinct explanation for opposing generative AI:
