📢 [New Collection] Archaeological Research Office Portal and Collections Now Online

A new portal site for the Archaeological Research Office at Tohoku University has been launched, along with the online release of its collection materials.

This digital exhibition is based on the physical display held at the Main Library from October 28 to November 8, 2024.

Please note that some items displayed on-site are not included in the online version.

“The Tale of Genji: The Enduring Art of “Miyabi”” is now available!

Supervised by Professor Hiroshi Yokomizo (Graduate School / Faculty of Arts and Letters, Tohoku University), the exhibition presents 42 selected items, all viewable online.

The Wasan Collection of Tohoku University (incl. Japanese arithmetic works from the Kano Bunko) can now be searched and accessed via the PRL website, operated by the Pacific Rim Research Libraries Alliance (PRRLA).
