Butterfly wings are dark brown on the base half and paler brown, with a faint violet tinge in the top half colour. Between these two colour areas is a very distinct white band made up of irregular white splodges.

Its natural colour - I ended up checking other pictures to see if they were different colour! It's got a very hairy body, which I suspect does help to transfer pollen too.
