I don’t want to be misinterpreted or misjudged any more

I just want to live by treating others how they would want to be treated. I want people to express themselves without fear of being attacked or killed. I want to live in a world where I can proudly say I’m not a woman and not be sent to a mental institution or excommunicated from my loved ones

I don’t think I’m a hero or a good person

I have always conceded that trans women are bigots’ primary scapegoat and they are more aggressively attacked in media and in real life. But this does *not* mean that no other trans group experiences discrimination in other forms.
This is the stance that my friend group did not agree with me having

It is my belief from both firsthand observation as a genderqueer individual and discussion with other trans men that we experience a different, but intertwined, discrimination from the conventions of heteronormative society.
Not exactly the same, but sharing the same source of bigotry

I have known so so many wonderful and beautiful trans women before, but even had I not, I would still fight for trans rights and believe in standing by trans women because it’s the right thing to do.

It is a fundamental pillar of heteronormative, patriarchal society to discourage and attack anyone who doesn’t adhere to its values. This makes trans women especially vulnerable as they are portrayed as deviant perverts for “pretending” to be women. It is a disgusting and WRONG cultural value

I blocked two former friends of mine on here since they desired to no longer speak to me, but I still want to address the claims they made in their replies that I’m a transmisogynist:

A lot of dog walkers don’t like being interrupted, (esp since some are training their dogs to behave on walks), but by law, I *always* play with the dog if they walk up to me first
