Seven multi colored 3D printed articulated mannekin figures on a tabletop surrounding an Illuminated LED orb and reacting to it as though it is a religious item to be admired and worshipped.
This is all your fault...

This time I went with Microsoft MakeCode. My original plan was to go analog and build the timer using 555 but I couldnβt get it to work with low-power (~3V), so I got lazy π

A pastel green crocheted travel suitcase with grey straps and blue handles. The front of the case is embedded with a Micro:Bit, which is an electronic microcontroller board with a grid of LEDs. Some of the LEDs are glowing and the straps cover the buttons on the board. The suitcase rests on a 3D printed deck chair laid on some grass in a park.

My latest hack βCyberDeckChairβ is a solar-powered contraption with two modes. In cyberdeck mode, use it as a Pomodoro timer to aid your work productivity. When youβve exhausted yourself, activate the deckchair mode and recharge in the sun βοΈπ§³π

Three Illuminated cuff bracelets with bright colorful patterns illuminating 3D printed grids comprised of geometric shapes on the exterior. One grid is made of heart shapes, one of diamond shapes, and one of hexagons.
Hands squishing a soft Icosahedron sewn from fleece with an Illuminated grid of ten 3D printed triangles on each side.
A dressmakers dummy, with an Illuminated tote bag sling over irs shoulder. The tote bag is covered with a 3D printed grid of translucent triangles and diamonds that are illuminated from behind.
An illuminated LED cube with a grid of 8x8 LEDs on each of its sides resting on a cutting mat next to a sphere with 384 illuminated 3D printed tiles covering its surface.
I make electronics projects, often wearable, usually with LEDs, both for my own enjoyment, and to publish on my blog (GeekMomProjects.com) and in Make: magazine so that others can build and enjoy them as well.

Just completed a new illuminated tote design in order to document and write it up for Make: Magazine. I had to change the geometric pattern on the front panel from my original builds because those were too close to a famous designer's trademark!

Made a coordinating LED crossbody and tote bag. To see the full effect, this video shows them in action: https://photos.app.goo.gl/VQUJzvVgrt7uJLVy7. Wonder if I can get away with wearing one on each shoulder...π€

The backside of a toy crocheted couch from the tv show F.R.I.E.N.D.S. It is attached to some electronics and a speaker that plays the showβs tune. In the background is a poster from the same show. A Turkey with round yellow glasses leans backwards on the couch.
A game controller made of electronics and felt embroidery. One of the electronics has a display saying βWho me?β. The game is an algorithmic version of βwho stole the cookie from the cookie jarβ.
A crocheted cushion in the shape of a resistor (yellow, violet, red, gold) with three identical real value resistors pinned on its top.
A hand holding the backside of an e-reader. The back cover is covered in cross-stitch decorated with flowers and leaves. In the center is a AAA battery holder with two batteries in it.

A person (me!) standing with their hands in Victorian-inspired pockets. The pockets are worn over a printed black t-shirt, black slacks, and a light blue Jean jacket. In the background are planted trees and bushes.
Iβm so excited! I made Victorian-inspired pockets attached to a waistband (w velcro).
I made them comically large to make a point, so, it fits everything I need - my phone, charging cable, wallet, comb, hand sanitizer, a tiny notebook, and my e-reader. If this sticks, it will be a game changer ππ«
