3,800-year-old wooden tool among items found at βwet siteβ near Courtenay
The KβΓ³moks First Nation is celebrating the remarkable discovery of a 3,800-year-old archaeological βwet siteβ discovered near Comox in March.
Rare 3,800-year-old artifacts were recently uncovered in KβΓ³moks territory this spring.
Found in a wet site during construction, these artifacts show how people tens of thousands of years ago β and is a powerful reminder of why archaeology matters.
