Sean and I rolled up DND stats and made characters so here's my tiefling diviner wizard I made. Here name is Yreen Acquiescence and her spell book is a rollerdex

Anyway. So so seriously. Immediately evac. Dont gather your things. If it's a matter of dignity, nab a towel or coat as you leave. Consider putting your wallet, keycard and phone in a specific and easy to grab location before sleeping. Anything you need to search for? Leave it.

I am extremely impressed by the quality of the response from the staff and how perfectly the fire doors kept the smoke contained (the hallway smells makes me gag but the second my door closes there's NOTHING).

I'm going to get on my "used to be a fire safety engineer" horse and say so so seriously that you should always assume a fire alarm is the real deal. Public spaces have to factor in delayed alarm response to their available safe egress time but. Don't rely on that.

As you can see the fire spread outside the room was minor but this is taken from where my room is and the green is the escape route. No one was injured and I got a good grade in Fire Evac by being outside in under 2 minutes
