(pic of detail listing regarding my scanner) So the issue with my scanner isn't about the scanner, it's photoshop not recognizing the 32-bit drivers, it's also probably windows too. Last time windows didn't recognize half of the scan settings, and the scanner is 20+ years old, I didn't get it new, husband rescued it from a previous job - they got new and were throwing all the old out. I just have to scan outside of photoshop. I had an old version of vuescan that I ended up buying because the free version puts a big black diagonal watermark across the scan. It'll be a few years before I have the funds to get a new one, so I paid the fee to unlock it. I'm glad it's not the scanner, because 12x17 flatbed, and I cannot afford to replace it right now, eventually I know I will have to.

I've been on vacation the past week, working furiously to get those cards done. Now that's over, I can relax, I don't have to be back to work '𝑡𝑖𝑙 𝑇𝑢𝑒𝑠𝑑𝑎𝑦. I think tomorrow I'm going to try and finish up Pennywise so I can move on to other stuff.

This is the last sketch card set for a while, this one really stressed me out. Windows update poo-pooed my scanner and I had to take photos to submit. Still working to payoff Dominic's medical bills. Almost done...

(Picture of a black cat looking at the camera) Yesterday Dominic had his yearly/follow up. Dr. A was mind blown that Dominic looks like he never had Hyperthyroidism. He couldn't even hear the false heart murmur, and he listened for a while. He did the blood pressure cuff and he's is absolutely normal. Dr. A said not many people actually go through with the treatment. I would absolutely do it again if I ever have another hyperthyroid cat. Dr. A called today with the bloodwork results : everything is 𝑵𝑶𝑹𝑴𝑨𝑳

Now I remember why I don't like painting on canson multi media paper. Any layering lifts the paint under it, I think I'll just do base layers on the rest and finish with colored pencils. #art #jynerso #minipainting

As much as I love Moleskine sketchbooks, I find the larger sketchbooks cumbersome when you have limited space to draw. Friday I chopped off the stitched spine, finished the raw edges of the cover, and wire-bound it today.

All buckled in his carrierin the back seat of the car, the cardiologist was an hour away, he did really well on the way and back.

The results of his appointment.

On the way home we stopped to pick up dinner, husband went in and I changed the pee pads for Dominic, I felt around on him and couldn't find where they shaved him, by the time we got home I forgot to get a better look til this morning.

Dominic had his cardiologist appt. He's normal. I'm relieved.

Black cat in isolation looking at the camera. HE GETS DISCHARGED TODAY! - - - Good morning! Dominic did wonderful over night again! He ate and used the litter box. This morning he actually came down off his little shelf to greet me with some sweet meows and purrs which absolutely warmed my heart!! This little man is a just gem of a kitty! <3 So this AM he is reading at 0.5!! That means he is able to come home today! Looking at my schedule, I am thinking a discharge around 230-3pm would work. Does that time frame work for you? This is what I walk into this AM!! I love him! - - - He's such a sweet boy, i can't wait to get him home.

He comes home today!

Dominic on the shelf above his litter box in his isolation cell. full update: I didn't get an update this morning, or this afternoon, I texted and she called me to give an update over the phone. She said that he's eating and drinking well, and using the litter box, he's not so scared, he accepted head scritches and even purred a little. His morning reading was 1.3 and his evening reading was .9, she said she'll know by tomorrow's readings when he'll be able to go home.

Picture of my cat Dominic in his isolation cell at the vet. Dominic update: "Dominic did great overnight! He ate all his food and used the litter box! He's still a bit scared of us (which is so understandable!!) and was in his little hidey hole this am. He is getting his individualized injection this afternoon around 1 pm. He read at a 1.0 this AM which is great. I will have another reading tomorrow morning and should have a good idea of when he'll be able to come home!"

Dominic update: You can see from his expression that he's scared, but it makes me happy that he ate his food and used the potty.
