I've previously said that if the US attacked Iran I'd fly an Iranian flag, but after the Iranian government killed so many protesters, I can't. We have three nations at war, the US and Israel vs Iran, and the absolute best outcome would be all three of the leaders of these three nations to die asap.

At this point, I suspect that civil war in the US in inevitable, and I remain haunted by a quote I saw on Facebook several weeks ago "When they write histories of this time, they'll say that the US civil war started on January 6, 2021, and I have great difficulty saying this is incorrect.

No one, I'd save Bobby Kennedy, he'd have easily beat Nixon, and that may well have killed Nixon's "southern strategy" (aka welcoming bigots into the GOP) and avoided both Reagan, Shrub, and our current mess. If I need to kill, I'd kill Reagan before 1980. The rot well predates 47.

I entirely agree. Denying children vaccines w/o a medical reason to do so should be treated as child abuse and should result in either mandatory vaccination or the children being taken from their willful idiot anti-vax parents

I was just glad it wasn't one of the increasingly terrible episodes focusing on Spock's love life, but yeah other than "The Sehlat Who Ate Its Tail" (which I quite liked), this season has ranged from barely ok to dreadful.

I'm sorry for your loss, I greatly enjoyed several of her novels and had not known she was no longer with us :(
