A sore throat that bad for multiple days is a red flag for me (especially after I suffered through one a couple years back thinking it was a cold, and then my kid got diagnosed with strep 🤦). I know a doctor visit isn't always possible, but if it isn't improving soon I'd get it checked if you can.

If your sore throat is really bad and doesn't ease up, take a look for signs of strep or other throat infection, because that IS something that can and should be treated.

I wish I had some free stuff advice, but hopefully you can make a couple boxes of jello or a pack of freeze pops happen.

That may take the edge off enough to get some water down. You might have better luck with a warm liquid like broth, or something cold and numbing like popsicles (or even ice cubes). High moisture foods like jello might also go down easier, it doesn't need to be actual water to help hydrate you!

Internet mom here! Unfortunately there's nothing you can do to make a cold end faster, though getting enough rest and keeping hydrated may help your body fight it off. Ibuprofen can help ease a sore throat (check that you aren't already taking an analgesic in your cold meds first).

If you were making cinnamon rolls you'd slice the tube into rounds and bake them flat (probably in a round cake pan if you want soft sides), for a king cake it's formed into a ring instead, and baked on a cookie sheet. It holds its own shape, no special pan needed.

Your instincts are correct. Bundt cakes use a wet cake batter, baked in a bundt pan, then flipped upside-down to serve. King cake is more closely related to cinnamon rolls - a yeast dough flattened into a rectangle, sprinkled with filling, then rolled into a kind of dough snake around the filling.

You gotta be careful with ANY kind of money borrowing but these pay in 4 deals are so much less predatory than most other deals I've seen. Usually they're not marketing a huge un-payable sum and there's no interest if you pay it back. It can be handy if you have a bad week but not for constant use.

There's no way an all black suit would have shown up so clearly on film in a dark environment, I think it has to be shades of brown and black to enhance the contrast of the shadows. Whether they intended to *suggest* blackness with its design is a different question that I cannot answer, though.

I think you should probably go tired if it's a chill thing, but if it's something really stimulating and active it might be better to stay home and rest 💜
