Agreed.

This trend is sadly spreading everywhere, politicians (and a growing portion of society overall) downplays and completely devalues the work artists do.

With the rapid rise of AI we're considered even more useless and sometimes even looken on as burdens on the economy. Sad times.

This is so disheartening.

It seems that the arts, public education and even healthcare are getting defunded everywhere nowadays.

Instead, we prioritize ways to make everyones lives absolutely miserable and unbearable. A world turned completely up-side-down.

A terrible loss for everyone, hope more funding will be put in to save them!

My dads old conducting teacher at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm back in the 60s, it's inspiring to see him go on with what he loves at this respectable age!

Belated happy 98th birthday to Herbert Blomstedt, I hope to have the same energy and vitality when (or if) I reach the same age.

Yes, can't be easy to find a functioning device. But they were pretty hardy, my father who is also a composer used Notator on an Atari well into the 2010s before he fully switched to Sibelius. Who knows, it may still work after all these years

I've never used this software but my first prof at uni was really invested in it (even though the academy had completely transitioned to using Sibelius on every computer). I felt really bad for him when they announced that Finale was coming to an end.

I was also excited to witness the return of "Nybakat Bröd", the very first SMASK Malmö winner that I got to see win the 2016 contest at Malmö Live! I could never have imagined that I would experience another live performance of this legendary song almost 9 years later. And they still got it!

It was especially exciting that SMASK has returned to Malmö Live after all the chaos during and after the pandemic, and it was a really well done comeback! ✨️ I can't wait for next years contest at this fantastic concert hall!

I had an absolute blast last week at Riks-SMASK (the first one hosted by Malmö since 2015)! This was the very first one that I got to experience live and it was absolutely amazing. Also, big congratulations to SMASK Ingesund for another well deserved win!
